American Ancestors (NEHGS)
AmericanAncestors.org by the New England Historic Genealogical Society (NEHGS) is an on-line repository of databases. A FREE Guest membership will give one access to 34 databases & more. If one has New England ancestors, this is a great place to start researching.
American Veteran Heritage Center
The American Veterans Heritage Center, Inc. (AVHC), is a non-profit corporation whose mission is to honor the accomplishments of veterans while preserving a priceless piece of national and local history - The Central Branch National Home for Disabled Volunteer Soldiers was established in 1867 at the end of the Civil War.
