2019 Annual Genealogy Seminar - Featuring: Dana Palmer

Dana Palmer, CG, is a teacher, lecturer, author and professional genealogist. She is the immediate past president of Warren County (Ohio) Genealogical Society and a genealogy instructor at Sinclair Community College and the Warren County Career Center. Dana has done extensive work with digital photo restoration and imaging, writing and compiling family books, cemeteries and Midwestern research.
Topics for the seminar include the following:
- Collecting Dead Relatives: Finding Burial Locations - Discovering death and burial records can be challenging. Learn what resources exist, who has them and how to obtain a copy.
- Beginning Military Research Using fold3 - Get Started with military research by finding your ancestor at fold3.
- Busting Through Brick Walls by Understanding County Boundaries - Learn how to find your ancestor's land, court and census records even though the boundaries have changed.
- "I Found Them" Using Residences to Find Elusive Ancestors - Learn how to find your elusive ancestors using residences found in the collections of the most popular genealogy websites.
